Trying to keep up with the different aspects of your life such as work deadlines, interpersonal relationships and other individual issues, results in a lot of stress that practically cannot be avoided.

Stress, for the most part doesn’t sound like something serious, it sounds like something lazing around over the weekend would solve. Well, there is a whole other side of the problem that remains invisible to us. If stress isn’t dealt with properly, over a long period of time it could lead to not only psychological but also physical ailments, commonly referred to as lifestyle diseases.

SoulVigour’s primary aim is to –

Our founder has twenty-five years worth of experience of senior leadership positions at corporates. In that time, he has dealt with the various stress related problems faced by people working in offices everywhere, and an insufficient number of remedies to them. This gaping requirement in India motivated him to leave his job and start SoulVigour. An attempt to organize a relatively unorganized industry and to spread awareness about the importance of wellness in everyday lives of individuals and corporates.

The growing number of people facing the ramifications of stress, richly substantiate the need for a way out. It is an age-old method of releasing the tension from tired and stressed muscles, one of the most prevalent and relaxing methods in history. And it is the only way where the beneficiary has to do nothing, and still gets immediate and long-term results.

Swedish

Never tried a massage before? This would be the perfect one for you. This is an introductory technique, designed for those of you new to massage. The primary goal of this technique is to relax the entire body, this is accomplished by precise gliding strokes on your mussels that encourage the blood flow and introduce you to new depths of relaxation.

Swedish massage, known in most of Europe as ‘Classic massage’, did not originate in Sweden, nor was it created by a Swede. It was actually developed by Henri Peter Ling in the 1700s. This is a very popular style with enjoyment and relaxation as its main aims.

Deep tissue

As the name suggests, this style targets the deeper layers of the muscles. This is used for chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or recovery from injury. People often feel sore for one to two days after deep tissue massage, but the benefits can be well worth it.

Deep tissue isn’t for everyone. For a newbie, the pressure would feel like sheer torture at first. The pain is a must though, because there would be no real healing without it.

Deep tissue, developed by Canadian physicians in the mid 1800s, can help make everyone’s lives better, but is an absolute necessity for people undergoing physical therapy and athletes who don’t take their training lightly.

Thai massage

Along with intense compressions and stretches, this style also aligns the energies of the body using gentle pressure on specific points. Thai message is more energizing than any other form of message, the therapist moves and stretches you into a sequence of postures, its like yoga without the work. It also reduces stress and improves flexibility.

Full Thai body massage is performed at the floor level, it includes gentle stretches and pressure point techniques that re-energize the body.

Although it originated in India, this form achieved greater popularity in Thailand, hence the name.
